VNU Exhibitions realises introductions that are ultimately intended to lead to valuable sales contacts. With a portfolio of 60 exhibitions, we are the market leader in the Benelux with our package of trade events and a recognised authority with our consumer exhibitions.
Mission
Our mission is to bring together the right people at the right time, in such a way that the contact provides added value for both the exhibitor and the visitor. This can effectively be achieved at an exhibition, but equally successfully via a seminar or an online platform. We realise contacts between exhibitors and visitors, but equally valuable is the mutual interaction between visitors or exhibitors.
This is why, in recent years, we have expanded our activities in the direction of Executive Summits: meetings for members of the Management Boards of large organisations. In addition we have high expectations for our online trade exhibitions, which we are presenting as an independent platform, separate from our exhibition titles.
Technology
We are particularly fascinated by the possibilities of ever-changing, new online technology. Ten years ago we started to build visitor databases. New technologies enable us to continuously expand our databases, as a result of which we can realise even better matches between visitors and exhibitors. Building on this experience, we offer exhibitors a number of online tools that they can use to achieve optimum market results.
Growth
We have a very clear ambition to grow. We are acquiring exhibitions and, equally successfully, launching new titles and innovating existing exhibitions. For 2009 and 2010 we have six new exhibition titles in the Netherlands, Belgium and Mexico, in spite of the economic crisis. With VNU Exhibitions Asia we have a solid foundation in Shanghai, where we rank among the main exhibition organisers. Since early 2012 we have our own company in Bangkok: VNU Exhibitions Asia Pacific.
