Founded in 2001 by Nicolas Michelin, ANMA specialises in architecture, urban planning and landscape design. The firm is currently managed by 7 partners, with long-time associates Cyril Trétout and Michel Delplace working alongside a new team of complementary personalities : Anne-Laure d’Artemare, Olivier Calvarese, Faustine Robert and Mélusine Hucault.
For the past 20 years, ANMA has been driven by the same core concepts : designing together and respecting every site, with a particular focus on the environmental concerns at play.
This approach is applied at every level, from urban planning to architecture and landscape design, and is tailored to suit every project and setting, utilising renewable energy wherever possible. By working collaboratively with all local stakeholders -in the form of workshops with elected officials, promoters, designers, associations and residents- we are able to draw attention to the site, highlighting, restoring and converting its pre-existing features.
Thus, ANMA questions ways of doing things, fosters research and public debate, relies on skill sharing and horizontality of decision making to create unique and extra projects from each site.
