Shake Shanghai

A well-loved shanghai institution, Shake first appeared on the scene in 2016. This casual and high-energy, live-music bar was ready for a revamp. Key to the project was to retain the soul of the place that was so familiar to its loyal customers. Based on the concept of cultural fusion, this space aims to mix cultures and cuisines. Nampa House

Nampa House is a restaurant that originated from a homemade food that has been descended over 200 years within a noble family. The designer has taken inspiration from the nature surrounding the old house of Nampa and its everyday objects. Naju where Nampa house is located is known for traditional craftmanship including weaving, carpentry, dyeing, and basketry. TINTA

Enclosed by five-meter ceilings and plate glass windows, the restaurant consists of an airy open plan space with an interior aesthetic drawn from mid-century Milanese cafés, but adapted and modernised to feel contemporary in the early 2020s. Some of the walls are finished in concrete plaster, while others are hidden behind a long velvet theatrical curtain. The floor is mainly palladiana terrazzo apart from the area adjacent to the brick counter.  Generous natural lighting is complemented by a giant lightbox above the open kitchen, and designer neon lights scattered throughout the space. Situated within the northern area of poznań is ChiChi 4U – a new burger restaurant envisioned by mode:lina™. As the architectural design studio has previously created interiors for the same company, the new venue seeks to form a unique space while still aligning with the ChiChi 4U brand.The interior was filled with surprising materials which came straight from a building supplies warehouse!
