Desiring to capture “the human aspect of the project”, Hopkins Architecture required a façade that complements the natural beauty of the location, while still responding to the light visual texture. Rejecting other metals due to cold or bright reflectivity, they opted for an exterior clear coat finish treated with gold and copper pearl to generate reflection of warmth. We added rust and gold speckling on top of this which finishes the panels in a discreetly luxurious way. There is now a subtle beauty taking backseat to the picturesque mountains in the distance.
