The OS minimalist sliding system emerged as a response to contemporary architectural trends, aiming to achieve maximum transparency with minimal structural visibility.
Sill options
Options include traditional, concealed with aluminum cover, and concealed with continuous flooring. When combined with a motorized opening system, the OS System facilitates the creation of large-format frames for increased glazing area.
Specifications
- Aluminum frames suitable for architectural applications, available in anodized and powder-coated finishes
- Capable of accommodating various glass transformations and digital painting techniques
In addition to existing minimalist sliding systems (OS-Simple, Double, and Triple), the OS-Concealed Sill version has been introduced recently. Whether featuring an aluminum sill or a fully embedded floor, this system facilitates continuous transitions between indoor and outdoor spaces, ensuring smoother passage, even for individuals with reduced mobility.
Designing aluminum frames since 1979
The Sosoares Group is a Portuguese company that operates in two business areas: creating, developing, and designing aluminum frame systems and transforming glass. Its history began in 1979 with "SOSOARES Máquinas e Ferragens, Lda.", initially trading in machinery and fittings for the aluminum window frame industry. Today, the Sosoares Group comprises four companies: “Alfa Sul S.A.”, “Alulider, Lda.”, “Portalex, S.A.”, and “Sosoares, S.A.”, complement each other in the design, development, production, and commercialization of aluminum frames and glass for architecture under the brand “SISTEMAS EURO 2000”.
With 300 employees, including 26 technical and commercial professionals dedicated to direct customer support, it introduces a range of new products to the market. It has invested around €15 million in a glass processing plant equipped with high-tech machinery to meet the demands of designers in new architectural trends focused on transparency.
