The SALTO Neo is an electronic cylinder that offers all the advantages of wire-free access control. These include easy installation and the possibility of equipping practically all doors with intelligence where no escutcheon can or should be installed.

The SALTO Neo electronic cylinder combines all of today's relevant access technologies (virtual network, wireless networking and mobile access) in one compact design. Due to the intelligent product design it achieves with all activated technologies more than 100.000 opening cycles with one battery set.

In addition, the electronic cylinder is equipped with SALTO BLUEnet, a Bluetooth based wireless technology, which is used for wire-free real-time functionalities as well as for wireless updates in the virtual network. This eliminates the need for hard-wired update points inside the building, increasing security, flexibility and convenience, which makes SALTO access solutions stand out from the competition.

The SALTO Neo is designed to communicate via RFID, NFC and Bluetooth (BLE). Thanks to Bluetooth and NFC, users can use their smartphone as a key. This is done using JustIN Mobile technology for mobile access via smartphone using BLE and NFC. SALTO Neo also works with SALTO BLUEnet for wireless networking with online functionality and SALTO Virtual Network (SVN) with patented read/write functionality and encrypted data transfer.

The SALTO Neo's versatility makes it suitable for applications such as wood, metal, plastic and glass doors, server racks, gates, cabinets, electrical switches and sliding doors - all over the world: from Central Europe, the UK and Scandinavia to Asia and America and even Australia and New Zealand.

The SALTO Neo is available as a half cylinder (e.g. for switches), as a knob cylinder, as a double cylinder (for access control on both sides), as a cam lock cylinder (e.g. for letterboxes, lockers or furniture) and as a version for server rack handles. Later, a version as electronic padlock will be added.

The electronic cylinder is suitable - depending on the model - for mortise locks with Euro-PZ cut-out, Swiss round profile, UK oval profile, ANSI profiles, Scandinavian profiles etc. and is therefore suitable for worldwide use, for new projects as well as in existing buildings as a replacement for mechanical cylinders.

Reader and cylinder are available with different surfaces: Chromium satin/polished, brass satin/polished (PVD) and black chromium. The cap is available in black or white and the cylinder body in different lengths. This allows the SALTO Neo to be configured to suit all required door situations.

The electronic cylinder can be installed and operated completely wire-free.
