Louvre Abu Dhabi

Pritzker-prize winning architect Jean Nouvel sought inspiration for the concept of Louvre Abu Dhabi in traditional Arabic architectural culture, and designed Louvre Abu Dhabi as a ‘museum city’ in the sea. Its contrasting series of white buildings take inspiration from the medina and low-lying Arab settlements. In total, 55 individual but connected buildings, including 26 galleries, make up this museum city. The façades of the buildings are made up of 3,900 panels of ultra-high performance fibre concrete (UHPC). The museum design is a collaboration between traditional design and modern construction techniques. Showcase Garrison Church Potsdam

A Showcase made of HAVER Architectural Mesh as a long-lasting protection against vandalism and robbery. The Garrison Church in Potsdam by architect Philipp Gerlach (1679-1748) was one of the outstanding buildings of the North German Baroque. Destroyed in the 2nd World War and demolished in the GDR, the church is now going to be rebuilt. As one of the first parts of the church the golden weather vane, consisting of a gold-plated crown, an eagle and a crowned monogram of Friedrich Wilhelm I., was faithfully reconstructed.
