SAMCITY is located in Hoorn, Netherlands. The recreational venue offers an indoor trampoline, laser tag, skate and BMX (bicycle motocross) and archery for children and adults. The exterior adopts a minimalist design. Flexglo™ F21 lights are mounted invisibly to accentuate the rectangular logo and the crisp lines of the architecture. The green-lit clean lines add a futuristic element to the building. The client went for RGB lighting in the end because he wants the building to cater to a variety of occasions such as special events or holidays. More

The illuminated feature wall casts RGB light onto the primary staircase inside the lobby of this healthcare building, which can be seen from the outside through the full height glass facade. The vertical design of the accent wall emphasizes the height of the space while infusing light into the entrance area and creating visual interest.Twenty-one LED Light Panels form the three dynamic wall features of the lobby, controlled by DMX decoders with signal amplification. Working on some project, design studios and architectural offices often need to create original lighting systems. This in turn requires close cooperation with light-designers and lighting companies. The fruit of partnership of that kind has become an unusual model of LED-luminaire - PAPER PLANE.
This art object was created by MDM-Light as a variant of the lighting system for the largest in Eastern Europe shopping center «Aviapark» on Khodynka Field in Moscow.
Previously this field housed the first Moscow airport. So from the very beginning of the development of the project the task was given to work out a lighting solution that mimics paper airplanes.
