Di Zock
ModCraft Hudson tile was selected by landscape designer Di Zock to add a dimensional material to create the movement and flow she wanted for this Pacific Palisades outdoor renovation. The contemporary home recieved a makeover of the front and backyard that incorporates architectural elements from the inside of the house and the exterior into the design. The goal was to create beautiful and functional spaces for the family to enjoy meals outside as well as entertain guests.
Flora of the surrounding area in the Pacific Palisades includes eucylptus and oak trees. Di's palette for the design included silvers, blues and greens using Yucca Rostrata, prostrate rosemary, and agave which complements the charcoal gray house.

Anaha Residential Tower Landscape
Anaha — “reflection of light” in the Hawaiian language — was designed to capture and reflect the light of the Pacific Ocean as well as the dramatic and ever-changing sky in Honolulu. Set within the Ward Village development, this multi-family residential project is informed by native Hawaiian plants and traditions, paying homage to the natural beauty and history of Honolulu.
Anaha is oriented with its long axis perpendicular to the shoreline to preserve sight lines from mauka (mountains in Hawaiian) to makai (sea). Veranda at Plantation
Landscape Design Workshop has won a 2018 Architecture MasterPrize™ Design Award in the Landscape Architecture / Outdoor Designs category for their Veranda at Plantation project. This lush tropical ‘urban jungle’ courtyard forms the social hub of the apartment complex and helps to mitigate the urban heat island effect. The 6-story residential building wraps around an interior courtyard featuring a lagoon-like swimming pool with a beach entry. Cascading fountains welcome the residents as they enter the courtyard and the calming sound of water can be enjoyed from the apartments’ balconies.
