Looking to capture the mythical and natural beauty of this Earth goddess, designer Jean-François Crochet has created the Gaia pendant light. Consisting of geometric frames reminiscent of the mountains Gaia created, the pendant uses led light to push light through the “cracks” formed. The Fish Trap is an ancient vessel. In the past, it served as a tool for catching fish. Then, as it was no longer used, it became a symbol that bears lost culture in museums and literature. In this piece, we tried to take this vessel and reproduce it with different dimensions and appearances.

Tulip panels for IGZ Office Amsterdam
Can Poly Products produce curved wall panels that have a embossed tulip-surface? And can you make them fire-resistant? With these questions Fokkema Architects aproached us. THe design was for the IGZ office in Amsterdam. Using Materworks we provided the answer.
The panels were all handmade on a special adjustable silicone mould. The surface includes an embossed surface showing tulips using angles and shade. More

These 14m high columns were handmade using translucent composites. Designed by NIO-architects and produced by Poly Products, they create a unique look of the intersection Hogeweg/Buurtas in Amersfoort.
Using a 3D-milled mould the columns were made as a single piece element. Inside the base of the columns LED-spots light up the columns at night creating a magical look. More
