Ku.Be House of Culture and Movement
The 3200 m2 Ku.Be House of Culture in Movement was designed for the municipality of Frederiksberg as a focal point for both the immediate community and also the wider area of Copenhagen; one that the people themselves could take ownership of and that would evolve its programme based on the specific wants and needs of its users. The project is a new typology, developed out of the response to a brief that solely asked for a building that would bring people together and improve the quality of life. NATIONALE-NEDERLANDEN BUILDING
Located along the Vltava River, within walking distance of the National Theater and of other prominent cultural facilities, the site for the Nationale-Nederlanden Building is one of only three in the historic district of central Prague on which new construction is being permitted. The site is located at the corner of two streets, adjacent to an unusually shaped public square. In response to the site, the design employs a twin tower scheme at the corner, creating a smooth transition from street to street, while at the same time creating a strong visual focal point. This massing strategy also establishes a sculptural dialogue appropriate to the context of the immediate urban environment.

Darmstadtium
The Science and Conference Centre is designed as an expressive sculpture. The futuristic architecture is continued inside the complex by using energy-saving and environmentally friendly materials and technologies. A central light well in the foyer not only supplies natural light to the lower floors, it also collects rainwater for re-use, while the air is pre-heated / pre-cooled in an earth duct and conditioned in ambient air units.
The washrooms are fitted with the particularly energy-efficient and water-saving GROHE Europlus E faucets. The innovative infra-red technology reliably dispenses water to the user when it is needed. It is also extremely hygienic and easy to maintain thanks to the touch-free operation. More
