Lively colours and quality of light are the distinctive elements of the evocative project by Eva Jiřičná for the new University Centre in Zlín in the Czech Republic.The building is structured around a covered central plaza delimited by two separate volumes, each composed of 4 storeys, with classrooms and facilities for the students and spaces for use by the teaching staff.In this project, the need to respond to specific acoustic insulation requirements but above all to those of resistance to fire (obligatory requested by law in some public spaces) has been satisfied, while at the same time achieving the desired aesthetic effect, to endow the space with brightness, transparency and lightness. The group’s first residential project in Europe features 53 apartments and a Six Senses Spa among other amenities. Located in the heart of the world-famous ski resort. All interiors have been designed by Alain Foeillet, creating a mix between contemporary styles with traditional alpine influences. Fire safety received special attention; more than nine thousand square metres of fire resistant glazing was incorporated in the building. The Royal Danish Playhouse

"The Royal Danish Theatre, Denmark's national theatre, has acquired a unique house with three stages; viz. the Royal Theatre Playhouse. The architecture and the materials chosen for this building, incl. the copper-covered stage tower rising above the entire complex at a height of 35 m, attempt resembling the surrounding town houses and the old towers of the city. The house has partly been constructed on piles in the harbour, and the lobby of the theatre sort of opens up towards three storeys with direct access to the pier at ground level.
