Sarang Nest House
Located in residential area, Taman Buana Permata house complex, Sarang Nest House design redefines house stereotype and grew organically from the base to becoming, as reaction to its environment constraints. Sitting at the hook of the street, the building is facing to west and south. Storeys are stacked in angles with protruded spaces enclosed by perforated wall to buffer the heat, either with traditional red bricks or metal screen that gives industrial look in contrast.

Birdman Japanese Pub
The project was about creating a dark shady space with diffused light on raw materials and being implemented exclusively by custom design. Scope was to blend the “mysterious orient” with the contemporary Athenian streetscape. The layout is organized as an alleylike space: the bar creates a linear axis to connect the two entrances. The interior is conceived as a quiet room with fine sand walls, glazed ceramic tiles and engraved surfaces of raw oak wood, blended with the original, repaired terrazzo flooring.

The Objective Basket: A collection of furniture designed by reinterpreting utilitarian objects from Kerala, India
The basket collection was designed for Kochi Muziris Biennale 2018-2019 as part of a site specific furniture project in Kochi’s Cabral Yard; a space imagined as a hub for art, interaction and inspiration during the span of the event. While researching on the different crafts of Kerala, we came across basketry and it instantly clicked. To be able to create interesting products with a craft input and in turn providing a platform to the artisans was our utmost priority.
