Holcim and partners launch Phoenix, a pioneering and circular 3D printed concrete bridge

Swiss-based global building materials and aggregates company Holcim has launched Phoenix, a pioneering and circular 3D printed concrete bridge. MVRDV exhibition showcases Shenzhen Women & Children’s Centre as a model of adaptive reuse

ReviveR is a new exhibition by the international architectural firm MVRDV that explores Shenzhen Women & Children’s Centre as a circular manifesto for a low-carbon, child-friendly city. The exhibition takes place at the Shenzhen Women & Children’s Centre, a recently transformed tower building in the southern Chinese city’s Futian District. Residential building 360 Degrees realized with 152 tons of demolition waste

On the Grasweg in Amsterdam-North, residential building 360 Degrees has been completed. The complex, designed by Studioninedots, consists of two towers connected by a cascading podium. The bricks used were made from over 152 tons of demolition waste. Mies van der Rohe 1:1 Model Golfclubhaus

In the summer of 2013 Robbrecht en Daem architecten realizes a temporary pavilion based on a competition design by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe from 1930. The design, a clubhouse for a golf course in the gently rolling countryside around the former industrial city of Krefeld, Germany, was never built at the time it was designed. Christiane Lange, art historian and curator for ProjektMIK, invited Robbrecht en Daem architecten to design an objet d'architecture on the basis of the unpublished historical sketches of the project that were found in the Mies van der Rohe Archive (MoMA) in New York.
