Knauf Ceiling Solutions as Ceiling Solution

The European market leader for complete system solutions of modular ceilings becomes famous in the French hotel sector. By means of fleece laminated mineral wool tiles of the product brand AMF TOPIQ®, Knauf AMF ensures an enormous noise reduction and a fascinating design.

In September 2016, Hotel Mercure Tours Sud, a brand of the French hotel group ACCOR, contacted Knauf AMF in order to reduce the noise in its restaurant.

During the renovation of the common rooms in the first half of 2016, hotel manager Ludovic Raynaud noticed the poor room acoustics in the restaurant of the hotel. A fact, which turned out to be a disadvantage for the wellbeing of the guests and employees.

In response to this problem, the specialist for innovative modular ceilings provides its expertise by supplying acoustic solutions of the product brand AMF TOPIQ® for the ceilings and walls of the restaurant. The products are characterized by their light weight, ease of handling, durability and excellent sound absorption performance.

In order to get in balance with the aesthetics of the interior and to appreciate the work of the architect, the ceiling rafts and wall absorbers have been designed in the colours black and white.

The result is clear: an efficient sound insulation, combined with a modern, elegant and fascinating design.
