Upholstery

Mischief, the headliner as far as graphic expression is concerned, is an abstracted floral/camouflage design, and is a larger scale complement to the other patterns in the collection. Organic forms paired with a tri-colored irregular ground give Mischief an upbeat rhythm and energy in a 52% post-consumer recycled polyester/25% acrylic/23% nylon construction with a PFAS-free stain resistant finish.

Lineage, inspired by the depth and movement of both raffia and knitted textiles, has an underlying stripe pattern that is intertwined with an organic, yet orderly weave with a variety of ticking and stitching effects. Acting as a true palette builder, accent colors that appear throughout the repeat give each colorway a distinct personality. Lineage is a 62% post-consumer polyester/22 %nylon/14% acrylic construction with a PFAS-free stain resistant finish.

Square Not is a 100% polyester upholstery fabric in which Cosonas challenged herself to create a geometric pattern that can double as an all-over texture. Consisting of raised squares made up of a five-color twist boucle yarn, contrasted by a subtle ground, this pattern moves the idea of a small-scale weave to a dimensional level, with yarns that appear to float on the surface. Square Not has a Nanotex PFAS-free stain resistant finish.

Stripe Zone is a Tekloom construction (85% polyester/17% TPE/3% silicone) inspired by striped geometrics from Cosonas’ extensive collection of books on design. A woven fabric with a high performance stain resistant coating, Stripe Zone is digitally printed with four different colored stripes interconnected with small open links that reveal a consistent white ground. “Quiet Riot” provides Wolf-Gordon with a fresh perspective, offering patterns and colorways that look both backward and forward – a collection that stands on its own, but also works seamlessly with our current upholstery and wallcovering offering.

Wallcoverings

Purr, a runway-inspired blurred leopard print with a diffused, ikat overlay, is subtle, sensual, and sophisticated. Cosonas opted to develop Purr in Wolf-Gordon’s CLAIR® construction, which is PVC-free, Type II and bleach cleanable.

Smooth Operator acts as one of the foundational products in “Quiet Riot” with a simple, small-scale plain weave. Smooth Operator was designed and developed as a high-performance hybrid wallcovering by combining a woven polyester ground with a light thermoplastic olefin film topcoat. This combination allows it to have the look, appeal and tactility of a woven wallcovering with the added bonus of non-woven Type II properties.

Mirror Image, a textile wallcovering that integrates a polyethylene tape yarn into a polyester construction, is extremely elegant, adding a hint of glam to Wolf-Gordon’s wallcovering category. Cosonas blended contrasting yarns to create a distinct level of depth and texture, with a play of light and tonal shifts of luster on the wall.

Manufactured by five different mills, each with distinct skill sets, Cosonas was able to execute her overall design vision in the development of the collection. Free of harmful chemicals, these high-performance textiles can live in a variety of environments including hospitality, corporate, healthcare, education, retail and residential.
