This was a custom windfall ash (from the same tree that came down in a windstorm in RI) dining table.  It was a fantastic collaboration with Nicole Hogarty as she had some initial design inspirations and sketches, and wanted us to scale and design to fit the space and functionality of the piece.  We created the solid turned legs and solid top along with a newly engineered structural system so that the piece had no bulky apron to be in the way of chairs and legs.  A custom tobacco cerused finish added depth and  the appearance of possible age to the piece, so perhaps it felt like a very lucky antique find.
