Sustainability is not something you dream of, but something you influence and realise yourself. According to this philosophy, Arpa Industriale has developed BLOOM, a new technology core material for FENIX NTM and Arpa HPL.
As usual in the industry, the core of HPL consists of paper and thermosetting phenolic resins. With BLOOM a new technology has been developed in which phenol is significantly replaced by lignin to 50%. Lignin is a natural substance in wood, the so-called "glue" in the tree that holds the wood fibres together.
Four colours in BLOOM have been developed for FENIX NTM. At Arpa HPL, BLOOM is offered in 28 decors from the Colorsintesi plain colour collection in three surfaces (Erre, Lucida and KER).
