This inaugural collaboration between the furniture manufacturer and the Norwegian design studio Anderssen + Voll resulted in a stately collection featuring a lounge chair, love seat and sofa. A sculptural silhouette resting upon sleek metal legs, Casen's spirit is articulated through its sophisticated elegance; meanwhile, a balanced tension between these modern yet classic elements create a memorable piece that commands attention in any setting.

Anderssen + Voll's sentiment of alluring animation is easily recognized through the lounge's tailored outer arms and back design that seemingly envelopes the user in comfort and embrace. Further emphasizing this idea of calming respite, the designers incorporated a generously deep seat with separate back cushions to convey an atmosphere of casual luxury. The resulting collection effortlessly anchors space within various applications, from lounge areas to lobbies.
The collection's three simple silhouettes, ranging from sofa to lounge chair, provide a straightforward solution and seamless integration into any lounge environment. Casen's sculptural cast aluminum base can be specified in polished or over 30 powder coat colors. Each piece’s back connects to its metal base through a unique detail that appears as if it is floating above its seat. To further enhance the users' experience, Anderssen + Voll incorporated additional back cushions fabricated with foam and down feathers, creating an alluring appeal of extravagance and luxury for the collection. Casen's elegance and visual weight infuse a sense of classic sophistication and grace into any interior, from commercial, hospitality and even residential.
Anderssen + Voll originally met and established a lasting friendship through their shared love of creativity. After graduating from the Bergen Academy of Art and Design and the Oslo National Academy of Art, they cofounded the design group Norway Says in 2000. Norway Says was a forerunner in a growing international orientation amongst Norwegian designers, drawing international interest to Norway's emerging young design scene. As a result of their success, Anderssen & Voll was formally established in 2009. Their work spans furniture, lighting, home accessories, textile design and interior design for some of Europe's most renowned international brands.
