Yellow Officepark Restaurant is located at Vienna International Airport. It provides seating for about 200 guests, split between a lounge/café and the restaurant. A linear orthogonal space is sharply contrasted by biomorphicly shaped room dividers and ceilings, while beige is used as dominant colour antagonizing the rather rational atmosphere of the Officepark.
The biomorphic shape of the ceiling is three dimensionally arranged into two layers thus extending the room's low height visually. The ceiling also enhances acoustics.
In the rear area of YOP a café is located, which is visually separated from the larger restaurant up front, and offers office workers an opportunity to relax. Generally there will be predominantly daytime business. Flexible seating configuration is an important part of the overall concept as space suitable for special events also had to be considered.
