VIP Lounge Privium

VIP Lounge Privium Schiphol

Leolac as Manufacturers

The project is designed by M+R architects and manufactured by Intos Interior. This project is made in 2008. The goal was a place with no straight lines but everything has to be 3 dimensional. That was the reason to contact Leolac. Leolac made the tables and the counter from complete 3D milled EPS foam with a hard coating. On top of the tables they used Corian. We also made the Ice bowls of EPS. Important was the possibility to premanufacture the elements of 6 meter length in our factory and assemble is in Schiphol to 1 big element. The advantage of EPS is that is is a light products. That is why it was possible to make the large table (13 meter) as 1 complete hanging object. The construction was a steel bar between the pillars and we assembled the parts on the bar. Now is is a stitchless object. The complete project was developed and made within 6 weeks after the first order and drawings.

The furniture is easy to clean and gives a feeling of comfort because it takes the temperature of the environment. The materials are made in a fire resistant recipe. Advantage is that we are able to make any 2D or 3D shape in soft foam and EPS. We can make the coating on specification of the customer.
