Vertical Garden Installation for BMW i Born Electric Tour, NYC

Danielle Trofe Design partnered with BMW i to create a sculptural vertical garden installation that climbed 20 ft. high and spanned two floors for the Born Electric World Tour 2012/13. Joining other local artists and designers as an official Good Goods partner of the tour which was held in NYC across from Bryant Park, Nov. 12-18th 2012. The Vertical Garden installation is designed to promote urban gardening and the integration of living plants into interior spaces by using vertical hydroponic technology. This sculptural vertical garden is now available for purchase. 10% of the sale will benefit the Green Bronx Machine, a NYC based non-profit that educates and engages students in the South Bronx on urban agriculture, greenscaping, economic and community development, and health and wellness.
