“Varenichnaya” is a Ukrainian cuisine fast-food restaurant. Total floor space is 97.4 sq.m.
The task was to design a modern yet authentic Ukrainian interior. Large accent elements were used in the design. High-quality natural materials and finishes of natural shades were used as a background. Dark brown stained oak floor, warm gray boards on the ceiling and brick columns. Wall decoration is made in white to imitate the texture that was used in the Ukrainian national village houses.
Few bright elements were used as decoration. On one wall - a traditional Ukrainian embroidery ornament, typical to this region, scaled up and displayed on the wall panels.
The walls were also decorated with white plates with different styled images. They were specially designed by a graphic designer and are a part of a corporate style.
That is how an accented red has appeared in the minimalist interior of the restaurant.
Restaurant space is zoned rather arbitrary, by backs of the sofas. They are made of plywood and decorated with volumetric ornaments. There is no traditional bar in the restaurant. Its function is performed by a large buffet, which houses a coffee machine and a bar. It is made out of wood in the traditional style. This technique is repeated in decoration of boundary- racks for conservation and working drawers for staff. Classic furniture pieces make laconic interior of "Varenichnaya" more homey and cozy for the visitors. to watch their kids while enjoying coffee.
