The objective is to improve the starting point of the Touristic Tramway of Aisne, while assuring on one side the viability of the equipment and on the other side by recreating an infrastructure that is able to fulfil the « classical » functions of a station and more generally, the reception and information for visitors, and to serve as “showcase” of the country.
Combining the views, the access to the platform and the narrowness of the site naturally lead to a stretched architecture… like the stations. Simple architecture that is structured by a double alignment of the pillars.
