At once visually spontaneous and architecturally straightforward, the concept for the tower artwork is a comprehensive, vibrant reflection on the concept of time. Suspended in mid-air are two nearly touching semi-spirals of dichroic glass. Each composition “half” is composed of 12 individual 8’x24” glass panels running along different color gradients. A total of 24 hanging glass panels, constantly changing in color, represent the dynamic, but transient hours of each day.

A 4’-diameter stainless steel ring with LED lights complements the dichroic glass composition.

Surges of light, which fully utilize the interior space, celebrate significant points in the day. These ‘light shows’ enliven the space with splashes of color, harmonizing with the bustle of the busy foyer space.
