Why t?
It started with an idea: the idea of a place of and for tea lovers. Where you may sniff, try, taste. Where you can also savour or be inspired. By a place where it is all about our favorite beverage: tea – and nothing else. This place we have created. We have omitted everything superfluous. And that's why even our brand is simply called: t. Because tea offers plenty of variety. Whether the classic way for a silent moment of enjoyment or as a thirst-quencher after sports, whether a fruity SmooTea, a creamy LatTea or as IcedTea – an ice-cold refreshment in the hot Season – you will get to know tea like you've never seen him before!

Handpicked happiness - this motto is no coincidence! Here, only the finest leaves and buds, individually selected, go into the cups. Just as we offer only handpicked specialties and delicacies. In our shop, you can also find accessories and delicious food for snacking and cooking: Homemade jams with tea, spice mixtures with tea, chocolates with tea, biscuits with tea and much more. We invite you to join us on a journey through the wonderful world of tea and its kind: More than 80 exclusive varieties – traditionally grown, carefully handpicked at the ideal point of time and partly refined by our creative teatasters with selected ingredients. ABOUT THE PROJECT
Scope of work is creating a unique and chainable fusion of a modern teashop (appr. 90 sqm) and tea bar for the new tea brand „t“ and t´s strapline “handpicked happiness”. Therefore a store area in St. Georg - an upcoming district of Hamburg - has been completely renovated and redesigned. Tea comes alive in three different harmoniously merging areas: t.bar (drinking & eating) , t.boutique (shopping) and t.school (tea tasting seminars).
Purity, simplicity, exclusivity and weightlessness of tea - the interior reflects all aspects of the brand “t”. All furniture and materials are – as tea – natural, the color concept matches the color code of the brand “t”. Individually/hand made decoration items and furniture underline the brands slogan “handpicked happiness”.
intended goals and objectives: t.boutique&t.bar is a perfect staging for the tea brand t and a great place for tea lovers. Asian tea tradition melts with modern European tea consuming habits. Transparency/open spaces, brightness and friendliness characterize the interior. Colors and materials reflect the brand and its values: high quality, modernity and naturalness. t.boutique&t.bar is an inviting space in the neighborhood for tea enthusiasts and fancy food lovers. It is a place to go for enjoying, talking, relaxing and shopping.
