This new house in the northern suburbs of Melbourne was designed for a professional young couple with a growing family. The new house plan re-orientates the living spaces to the north, and opens up directly into the garden. A central courtyard off the living room allows for sheltered play and all year entertaining. A natural material palette allows a subtle and relaxed backdrop to family life.
