ROC Flevoland

The new ROC building in the centre of Almere Poort is more than just a school. The multifunctional complex of 10.000 m2 will be built near NS Almere Poort station. 1.500 - 2.000 students will finally receive their training there. The new building has to function well as an intermediate vocational education building. The ROC Flevoland is a building where "active learning in actual practice" takes place. A building where each student undergoes a development of their own, where each student within the curriculum can follow a route of their own. To make the building accessible the mass has to be lifted to make the main entrance to the school building as prominent as possible on the side where most visitors will be expectred: the train station and bus station.
