Pastificio dei Campi

Pastificio dei Campi

Sabrina Masala Studio as Architects

The factory project, “Pastificio dei Campi", and its offices have been just renovated. The innovative business and design concepts are based on the interconnection  of pasta manufacturing area with a commercial space for sales and tasting. The renovation plan of both offices and factory, streamlines spaces according to their functions  while creating engaging environments apt for sales activities. The “Pastificio dei Campi" building has three levels and a walkable roof top with an amazing view  of  the Vesuvius. The first floor is used to receive customers and for this reason it is characterized by an area for direct access and public production vision. The second floor is used for the retail sale and the office area. The last floor is conceived as a "tasting room". This floor has a sitting area with TV screen and a professional  kitchen designed by Molteni Electrolux and it is specifically provided with 12 seating for tables. The kitchen is completely open in the dining area where chefs are allowed to cook pasta in close quarters with guests. The space distribution and its function is even more visible by clean and explanatory graphics. This way represents its strong renovation. The main colors used are black, red and white: tomato sauce is red, flour and pasta are white and “symbolic” color for lava stone on the slopes of Vesuvius.
