The Challenge for Architect Herman Hertzberger was to implement the original building (Abe Bonnema) within the new much bigger educational grounds. It’s constructed as it were a paintingframe. Because of the seethroughs underneath the building the original construction is in sight. Designed by AHH/Herman Hertzberger and built by BAM Utiliteitsbouw.
To be certain that there are no problems with the doorhardware, they have chosen to use the Artitec Proline doorlevers on longplates. Proline is a class 4 (EN1906) certified hardware and is guaranteed for 10 years.
