The company Allumette wanted to have an office with a high level of natural light into the rooms and a solar energy system to provide warm water.
The roof windows used¸ are placed in a block combination with minimum distance between the roof windows In order to provide the highest possible natural light into the rooms. The installed high pivot windows provide a high ease of use. In combination with duet windows it creates a greater level of natural light into the room.
To prevent overheating the rooms in the summer, the roof windows have been provided with solar glazing and an awning blind. This ensures an optimal protection against heat.
The office space needs good lighting for a proper use of the room. Therefore light tubes have been installed so natural light can provide the necessary light into the room on sunny and cloudy days.
The solar collectors on the outside ensure that the office has warm water when needed.
All the elements have been placed on a pitched roof with flat tiles.
