New Danish Embassy in New Delhi

The embassy complex will house a Danish chancery with a visa section, an incubator section, and the potential to house the chancery of a second sovereign nation.
Staff residences will be linked to the chancery, and there will be smaller units for the servants quarter.
In order to establish a smoothly running, visually appealing building complex the following approaches will be employed:
The construction will be based on the vision of an attractive, vibrant working environment that is clearly innovative and financially feasible and enjoys a timeless Nordic design.
The composition of the embassy complex will be based on the desire to create a unified site that is flexible at the same time.
Architectural simplicity with precise variations in the idiom of the buildings.
The site and surrounding perimeter wall will signify security without appearing to be a fortress. Static and dynamic security will be implemented as a theme throughout the approach chosen for the chancery design.
The architecture will employ sustainable elements to adapt to the climate. The new chancery will also reflect its local roots.
