N.B.S. Touristic Harbour

AquiliAlberg as Architects

The location and the surrounding of this site is very special and unique, just off the sea, along the river. The main request from the investor is to transform the site in an omogeneus whole with a mixed used destination. Due to the prominent and rare location the new Marina will offer a very exclusive place. Therefore the project will be characterized by a very strong and distinctive image. The concept is focus on the traslation into architecture of water and nature uniqueness. The project is in fact dialoguing directly with the water inviting, as entered the site, to go towards the river. The main building on the right side interconnects a landscaping roof with a public bar, a ground floor parking and an upper floor 2 storeys housing block. It is a unique gesture interrelated with the whole site. The dynamic rotation of the upper part is generated by the orientation towards the open sea. The fluid and sculptured lower part generates a public area around the Marina. The SPA/Wellness building with a roof restaurant is located on the street side. Its orientation generates a more intimate space inside the Marina and protect the site from noise and traffic.

The project of Marina di Jesolo has entered the preliminary stage. The design, while remaining consistent to the original concept, is revised and deepened in line with customer needs, making the most of the great potential of the site and its special location at the mouth of the Piave and the Adriatic in the shelter of a pine forest.

Thanks to its beautiful and rare location, the new tourist marina offers a unique and exclusive ambiance, significantly characterized by the iconographic power of the project which focuses on the transition between architecture, nature and liquidity.

The project is in fact dialoguing directly with the river and the sea, the water flows within the site, directly linking the program with the river and its projecting upper storeys towards the sea.

The strong idea of the project is also to use the covers for the integration of systems that will minimize energy consumption in both the heating and the cooling, reducing the dispersion of heat and with the ambitious goal of transform the marina into a producer of energy.
