M/Y NOOR 37M
The yacht, with interior design by Hot Lab yacht & design, is in final for Boat International’s World Superyacht Awards.
Noor, fully built in wood, has a length of 37 mt and a beam of 7,50; the external lines are slender, designed by the shipyard's engineering and design office, following the owner's idea.
The interior project and styling, realized by the Italian “Hot Lab yacht & design studio” calls to mind a warm minimal taste reinterpreted with clear modern elements. The studio was involved in the entire project and construction since day one.
Indoors décor is characterized by the elegance of polished greige tinted oak veneer throught out the entire yacht except for the main saloon and it is fitted in a way to create no contrast but a warm and extremely elegant ambience, due also to a wise use of Thassos marble and precious carpets. On the other hand the main saloon plays with a completely different color combination, again trying to avoid any sort of exagerated constrast, but at the same time by blending together a lot of different materials: a dark tinted ebony is the main veneer, accompanied by modern lacquered inserts, fabric and leather panels on walls and ceilings and a very accurate choice of high standard loose furniture. The plaited leather on the covering panels makes the environment very comfortable and austere at the same time.
As for the entire design compart, the onboard lighting has been carefully studied: the natural daylight is ensured by means of wide windows, while the sophisticated indoor artificial light has been obtained thanks to a wise mix of low consumption led built in the walls and cabinets' panels and baseboards. Warm spotlights are used for ceilings and on countertops, in a very unique way, pointing up in order to enhance every single element, the whole combined with stylish lamps.
Particular attention has been paid to the arrangement and use of volumes. On the main deck there is a wide saloon made of two parts: a convivial area and a dining one. Going ahead you reach a spectacular staircase connecting the lower and the upper deck. On the left side there is the galley while after the corridor there is the Owner’s wide accommodation made of a relax area with two low poufs, a desk area, two extra wide beds with an en-suite bathroom including a luxury bathtub, a wide shower area with sauna and steaming room. The lower deck is totally for the guests: astern there are two double guest cabins, afore one VIP cabin.
On the upper deck the saloon is made of a wide convivial area, with a modern touch thanks to completely open dinner area, directly facing the outside lounge area. On the really front we find a confortable wheelhouse.
On the flying bridge, loose modern furniture to confortably seat more than 8 people and a custom made bar facing aft. Afore a huge sofa and sunbeds complete the outfitting.
