My Home Studio

Tacal Arquitectos as Designers

My Home Studio is the project that Bticino has created in Mexico to show in a clear and exciting way the "Home automation" concept. The most innovative and cut edge domotic functions altogether in a single place ready to be incorporated in our daily lives and this way dwell and work in spaces with more comfort, security and efficiency. My Home Studio is probably the most complete and sophisticated showroom in our country.

Through a walk across the room, which has been adecuated as a nice department studio we can understand that domotics is something reachable, friendly and needed not only for being comfort and luxury, but home automation allows substantial savings in energy, reducing costs and contributing to protect our environment.

The distribution of the space inside the project is very simple and has a few well organized elements, it starts with a main access hall with a wooden suspended ceiling that descends through the wall for a finishing visual impact that can create different kind of ilumination from one second to another, we find a small public area consisting in a living and dining room complementing with a small service kitchen dressed all in a brilliant black to make reflections more vivid. Containing elements such as walls, ceilings and floor has been planned with neutral colors to allow furniture and ilumination become the main characters.

My Home Studio was designed by architect Carlo Hernandez: "The idea of the concept was to develop a space that could be able to create a chain of inspiration for all of their visitors, that could be perceived as affordable, accesible and perfectly well solved in lighting, for this we went to the basics of interior design, it had to be simple, with light colors and light furniture to let us enjoy every single corner of every space".
