Muziekkwartier Enschede

As a senior designer for Inside Outside i was responsable for the concept design, graphicdesign and project management of this large scale art wall. This wall, which is 150 meter long and has an average height of 12 meter, zigzags through the building and separates the foyersof the three music halls. The layered composition is build up from floral images, images of human figures and visualisation of music and rhytm. The design, colour and scale change constantly over the total length of the wall connecting the modern music hall to the classic theatre hall. Brush panels are inlayed in the wall to the musical notes of the provincial anthem of Twente. The 'hairs' of the brusches resonate the sound in the building.
