Each person is unique. Within our saturated consumer society, we frequently get lost somewhere along the way, absorbed by the colorful restless multitude of people. Even when we are all by ourselves, in the isolated space of our own homes, we cannot manage to stay true to ourselves – burdened, over-saturated, our senses numb and our mind sliding on the surface of things. We think somebody else’s thoughts; our bodies feel without sensing, we live somebody else’s life as if in a dream.
The purpose of this project was to create an environment emptied of surplus, allowing its inhabitants to shake the stress and the abundance off and just be themselves; to leave some free space for the consciousness, to remove the multitude and leave room for the mind; to strip the publicly accepted to its essence and show the natural substance of things – without any fragrance or make-up in order to provoke the forgotten senses of touch, light and shadow, air and space, to free some space for the flight of thought, to provoke the imagination and set it free, to give the inhabitants the opportunity to rediscover their uniqueness and freedom, and enjoy it.
