Artitec and La Defense
La Defense is a commercial officebuilding, which is currently occupied by the dutch social services (UWV). It's located within a residential area and is extravert on the inside but introvert on the outside.
The introvert outside follows the variable borders of the terrain on which it's build on. The downlevel of the building is brought a couple of meters above groundlevel to create room for an interior parkinglevel.
The Front of the building has been covered with a foil, which is developed for use within perfumebottles. Although it never made the bottles, UNStudio used it on the front to create a unique and surprising front.
