New mews house on vacant plot in Kensington

John Cullen Lighting as lighting designers

Marketed as the secret house in Kensington, this multi-million pound house was built on a vacant plot. Architect designed, it comprises a single dwelling of some 7,700 sq ft comprising a three storey basement the full width and depth of the site, with a traditional four storey mews house nestling between two properties. The three bedroom house includes a ground floor reception room opening up on to the large garden, a fabulous kitchen and further drawing room, light wells, a sauna, gym and swimming pool complex with raise and lower bottom, wine cellar and cinema room. The internal staircase was crafted on site to fit the space.

The cutting-edge lighting design uses the latest energy efficient technology to compliment the interiors. The latest LED technology was used throughout to create an energy efficient scheme to enhance the interiors. Lighting is layered throughout to add mood and atmosphere and create a versatile living space.

All lighting products used were from John Cullen's energy efficient range of products, which are all designed in-house and manufactured in the UK. They include the 1w LED Lucca, 1w LED Cazalla, the LED Contour strip and the LED Polspring downlight.

This development was master minded by AP Arcon Construction, who bought in John Cullen to create the atmosphere required for this top end residential scheme.
