The house is located in a northern suburb of Santiago, and its sites are surrounded by parks. The project seeks to incorporate the landscape into the residence, following the costumer’s request of spending a long time during the year in the exterior and intermediate spaces. Walls and slabs spread in control of the effect of the sun and wind over these places.
The interiors are organized around an 8 x 8 m central courtyard which opens north towards the garden, visually joining with the park next to it. The public areas surround the courtyard from the south access to the main terrace from the north. The east side sieves the private area where a slight staircase leads to the master bedroom. From there a large porch opens up dominating the landscape.
