Jungbrunn Alpine lifestyle hotel
Jungbrunn Hotel

An emerging brand

Gira as Switches

Tannheim, the largest village in central Tannheimer Tal, is situated at an altitude of slightly more than 1,000 m, which makes it an ideal destination for nature enthusiasts. Local residents and tourists can enjoy the high valley all year round, hiking through green meadows, riding up and down on mountain bikes, skiing down the slopes in winter, or exploring the mountain landscape on snowshoes. Jungbrunn, which is a unique Alpine lifestyle hotel, is integrated in this landscape.

The hotel was founded in 1957 by Raimund Gutheinz. He became known throughout the region for the concept, which was revolutionary at the time. He built the first ski lift in Tannheimer Tal. Raimund Gutheinz has also continuously developed his ideas for the hotel industry further. His son and his family have also adopted this guiding principle of always staying one step ahead. The hotel has been expanded continuously to transform it into a wellness oasis to fulfil the growing demands of guests. When doing so, the family placed a great deal of value on traditions.

Guests can choose from a total of 81 rooms in twelve different categories. Something is available to suit any taste: from rustic double rooms to apartments styled like ski lodges and even luxury suits. Each room features an individual design, giving it a personal touch. High-quality materials such as barn and larch wood were used. The hoteliers selected the Gira E2 switch series to match the interior concept. The reduced design and clear form of this switch line correspond excellently to the interior design concept. Switches and socket outlets from the Gira E2 series were also installed in both restaurants.

SPA experience

A SPA experience covering 7,000 square metres is available to guests. Of course traditional amenities are offered, such as various saunas and steam baths. There are also an indoor swimming pool, heated saltwater bath, and a natural spring pond. Jungbrunn's wellness landscape sets unusual trends again and again, including with its infrared cave, outdoor salt water pool, and bathing biotope. There are a numerous quiet zones throughout the SPA area. The relaxing panorama gallery features a view of the hotel gardens. Guests can visit the massage and beauty area for even more wellness. They are spoilt for choice here with a variety of offerings to rejuvenate them for the following day.

Fitness

A fitness area of 300 square metres spanning two floors ensures active relaxation. Working out on a variety of equipment boosts energy and endurance. Courses led by professional trainers are perfect for guests who enjoy group exercise. Up to 30 different programs are offered weekly for back strengthening, stomach, thigh and butt training, or stretching and relaxing. Tennis players can improve their serves and returns on a sand court and two indoor courts. Qualified coaches from a renowned tennis academy provide support.

Shopping

Guests don't have to leave the hotel to buy gifts for loved ones back home. There are plenty of souvenir ideas for both young and old in the shop. Guests who are looking to indulge themselves instead can find traditional Tyrolean clothing in the boutique next door.

Finest quality

Tradition and lifestyle joined with charm and service make Jungbrunn Hotel a brand which is embodied by the Gutheinz family, as well as their 130 employees. At this year's "hogast Symposium" in Salzburg, Jungbrunn received awards in the Communication and Employer Branding categories. In both disciplines, a variety of professionally planned actions with verifiable results were decisive.
