The newly built Jeroen Bosch Hospital is the largest non-academic hospital project carried out within the Netherlands. It was created by merging three smaller hospitals and collaborating with a number of other care institutions. The client aspired to create the most people-friendly hospital within the Netherlands and the result is an extensive complex offering a large range of care services, which helps make guests feel at ease and enables them to find their way around easily.

A careful blend of consideration of the human aspect, plenty of natural light and accessible outdoor areas all help provide a pleasant environment in which to work and recuperate. A part of the former Willem Alexanderziekenhuis has been incorporated into the Jeroen Bosch Hospital and this now houses the laboratories. The De Tolbrug Rehabilitation Centre (Revalidatiecentrum De Tolbrug), the Geriatrics department, the psychiatric clinic of the Reinier van Arkel Groep and the Verbeeten Institute (Instituut Verbeeten) are all located around the outskirts of the complex, which has views over Gement.
