In a project from an oil and gas corporate client, the architect tries to design the office interior with blue color as the theme that is inspired from the main color in the IEV logo. The architect mixed three elements in processing this interior design, i.e. wood, blue shade and white shade. The three shades are applied in a deconstructed style where the slanted corner is randomized and has no fixed corner or symmetrical corner.
The room thus looks divided by the asymmetrical line creating an interesting form. The entrance is hidden behind the blue wall thus the receptionist room looks like a single room without any other room in sight. Only the employees and residents know the access to other working rooms. The wood elements are combined with hanging plants to give a refreshing look. At the meeting point where the two asymmetrical elements meet, a hidden lamp is placed yet boldly separates the two parts. The lamp continues until the ceiling and the floor.
