The renovation of the museum in the park near the lake in Ichihara city, Chiba, Japan. Roofs are like if the strings were surrounding the existing build- ing. These strings are connecting the roof of the exiting build- ing, garden on the ground, and the lakeside. Moreover, the parts of them become the spaces to connect outside to inside and visitors can walk around them.
When visitors walk on these strings, they can see many scenes such as mountains, hill, lake and forest. And visitors can see the inside exhibition of the museum, kids playing on the garden, while several events, and people taking a rest in the cafe.
