This multi-family housing is composed by two T5 and one T2 in three housing floors (850 m2 of area) and a basement for common parking.
The program – established by the client, the licensing entities and the architect – defined from the beginning the necessity of the building to assume itself as one single house in one indissoluble volume.
In addition to its natural contemporary image, the project values the memory of the site. The client’s emotional bond to the plot promoted a reinterpretation of the landscape. In this sense, it was programmed to take advantage of winding paths and walled with rustic stone embankments of the existing garden. This idea is spread the project and the genetically sober volume is dematerialized by the enjoyment of the exterior space, establishing a bridge between the past and the present. The plot’s morphology was maintained, suffering only the excavation of the house. The existing trees have been kept to the extent possible as well.
