The property is located on the top of a little hump. It faces south and offers a sublime view to the mountains on the other side of the valley. A clear form and the use of natural materials characterize the single family home.

The ground level is made of concrete, built into the backside of the hump and contains the entrance, children rooms and storage areas. The first level is made of wood and contains backside bedrooms with a bath. An open cooking, dining and living area oriented to the valley and have full-height glazing along the entire length of the south façade and creates a flowing transition between interior and exterior with a fantastic panoramic view. A loggia along the entire length of the south façade, providing shade in the summer. The back of the house appears to be more closed. Its entire façade is clad with untreated silver fir wood from forests in the immediate vicinity. Thanks to this wooden façade, which has already weathered to a light gray colour, the building fits in harmoniously with the traditional rustic texture of the region.

A district heating pipeline carry most of the energy for the home supplemented by a stove in the living area.
