The building takes full advantage of the plot of land, to maximise the view of the alps.
The building form is a result of the subtle manipulation of a simple volume, transformed to a wooden sculpture.
Depending on the vantage point, the monolithic structure is at once, light and narrow, then wide, and heavy.
The occupants actively change the building’s external expression through the opening and shutting of the generously
proportioned window shutters.
Internally, a cascade of stairs tracing the natural contour, leads to a generously proportioned living area. Rooms of
varying dimensions and geometry accentuate the internal spatial atmosphere, each window framing a precise view of
the landscape.
