Hilton Garden Inn in Ufa

Hilton Garden Inn Ufa

MAD Architects as Architects

Strictly following the letter of the brand-book but do not forget about the uniqueness of the project, MAD Architects managed to create original interiors with the national colors meeting the highest standards of quality and hospitality, which hotel operator Hilton is famous for.

The construction of the Hilton Garden Inn in Ufa, Russia was confined to the summits of SCO and BRICS in 2015. It became a part of the Ufa Centre – hotel and business complex built on the banks of the White river. The seven-story hotel with three basement floors with an area of over 15,000 square meters meets all standards of the international hotel operator Hilton. The hotel features 170 rooms of various categories, including rooms for people with disabilities, as well as 5 meeting rooms, restaurant with 60 seats, bar, swimming pool with steam room, fitness center and underground Parking.

The MAD Architects bureau created design of the interiors. The concept of Garden Inn – garden inside, that implies the use of natural colors and materials – was taken as a basis of the interior of the hotel in Ufa.

The main hall The space of the main hall full of natural materials, colors and textures. The floor is covered with stone tiles. The ceiling is panelled with built-in led lamps. Reception desk as if placed in a massive wooden frame. Large soft sofas and compact sand color armchairs with bright accent cushions make up the waiting area occupying the space from the elevators till the reception desk. Natural plant in long, white beds or separate tubs created the special atmosphere of the hall.

A constructive feature of the building is a large number of pillars in the main lobby and restaurant. Architects decided to decorate them using traditional Bashkir ornament. This pattern also presents on the façade of the hotel and glass partitions in the interior. The use of double-layer glazing in the decoration of the columns makes them more airy and literally "dissolved" in space.

A restaurant and a bar The restaurant area is also located on the ground floor of the building. The entrance is marked by a low partition, finished with natural stone. The glass fireplace is installed on the top of it.

Bar area precedes the entrance to the restaurant. It is a long counter made of black marble, lit by hanging lamps, with a number of high bar chairs. Tables with low chairs located across, near the windows, which offer beautiful views of the White river. Wooden panels on the ceiling artfully "cut" by lines with built-in spotlights.

Passing the bar area, guests enter the restaurant space. Here, as in the rest of the interior continues the theme of natural colors – sand, light brown, green. There are also many wooden texture and natural plants in here. Unlike the lobby and bar floor is covered with carpet. Glazed columns with traditional patterns lead to the attention to the white ceiling of the original design.

The rooms All rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn in Ufa decorated mainly in warm colors: light brown, cream, beige. Natural wood texture is present here in the form of finishing the head of bed, doors, a working and a coffee table. Comfortable large beds, ergonomic chairs, soft carpet, laminated textile curtains, a spacious bathroom and all the necessary appliances and accessories – all of this is attention to detail and comfort, perfect for good rest after a long drive or business day.
