Each new beginning, even if it is for the 36th time, is very exciting and full of many question marks! The established corporate identity, the functional and exploitation requirements face reality – the lot, the urban framework and the legal requirements. After this clash of the titans the new grocery store in Durvenitsa (a neighborhood in Sofia) opened on February 23, 2012!
The store has its own partially covered parking lot; sheltered escalators lead to the inner part of the store. Pedestrians have their own ramp with a direct access to St. Kliment Ohridski Blvd. The entire volume of the hall is visible from the entrance of the store. The idea is for the client to get a general idea of the store right from the open area behind the cash registers. The rich natural light and the precisely selected artificial lighting create an appropriate environment for the perceiving of products twenty-four hours a day. The commercial hall is divided into several large areas. Thematic products and rich, bright interior elements emphasize their boundaries. Thus, specific types of products become clearly distinguishable among the overall abundance. The natural walking line logically directs the customer to the variety of offers. The remaining product groups are also within sight, facilitating the shopping experience.
