Ferncroft Avenue, Hampstead

Ferncroft Avenue, Hampstead

Boscolo as Designers

For this project we were approached by a boutique property investment company to undertake a complete refurbishment of this three bedroom property, creating a turnkey solution for international clientele.

Retaining as many of the original features of the Victorian town house as we could, our brief was to develop this property in order to increase the net value. Further, this had to be done in a way that was saleable to the international market.

As such, we approached the project with a clear goal in mind: we needed to create something that was luxury, something that was valuable and something which wouldn't alienate the clientele in terms of design.

Sticking to a fairly strict colour scheme of whites/blacks/metals we ensured that polished feel to each any every room, something that we feel transcends cultures and would be attractive to people from all around the globe. Incorporating various finishes to the surfaces, as well as rich, lustrous furnishings we made sure that the starkness of the colour scheme was embellished with a tangible, plush opulence.

One of the key points of the project was the architectural restructuring of the property. Taking one of the rooms and creating a small study/office space we ensured that we were adding a great deal of value onto the sale value of the property; a room that adds utility whilst also sticking to our luxury design aesthetic.
